HEYY! My name is Laila and I am currently a sophomore studying in Florida. I was born and raised here but my parents are from different backgrounds, my mom being European and my dad being Arab. Besides school and academic's, which can be A LOT sometimes, my free time is composed of traveling, working out, and competitively swimming, and I love mixing all 3 together! So far media studies appears like it will be a very interesting class. I very much enjoy the creative freedom we have with the blog posts and love how we can openly express our own opinions on certain subjects. From the portfolio process I hope to gain experience in the writing and publishing field as it interests me. Additionally, by the end of this class I would love to have my own blog page that reflects on me as a student and person!
